The first face-to-face CAPS-A training course, since the pandemic started, was successfully delivered by the CAPS-A Trainers in Oxford, UK, on the 29th and 30th September 2022.
Fourteen delegates attended from all over the UK and Ireland and delegates have since completed their online self-assessment session.
The CAPS-A Training Course in Oxford, UK, on 31st March-1st April 2022 is now fully booked. Delegates will be contacted via email in January regarding payment.
It is planned to run a full CAPS-A Training Course on 31st March - 1st April 2022 in Oxford, UK (in person). Please note that these will be two longer days to permit covering all training materials. (Previous courses involved 3 shorter days). It is anticipated the cost will be £200 (sterling).
The CAPS-A Training Course is for Speech & Language Therapists currently working in the UK and Ireland only and who carry out cleft speech audits. Priority for places will be given to Cleft Centres who do not currently have any CAPS-A Trained therapists.
If you are interested in attending this course, booking is not yet open, however, expressions of interest are currently being collected. If you would like to attend please advise your Cleft Lead Therapist who will feed back to the CAPS-A Trainer's group.
