Registration now open for CAPS-A training October 2024

CAPS-A Training Course 

Tuesday 1st October – Thursday 3rd October 2024

CAPS-A is a comprehensive training package for reporting cleft speech outcomes. This training programme consists of in-depth theoretical and practical training on the CAPS-A tool, with a final self-assessment task and certificate of course completion.

The course will take place over two and a half days in October 2024

This course is suitable for Specialist SLTs working in the field of Cleft Palate

Cost: £275 for full course, including refreshments

Lunch provided on 1st/2nd October

There is an early-bird price of £250 if the full amount is paid within 28 days of confirming a place

CAPS-A Refresher Course 2024

Thursday 13th June 10:00 – 16:30 

CAPS-A Trainers: Helen Extence and Lucy McAndrew

Venue: John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford

This course is suitable for SLTs who have completed the original CAPS-A training course and would like an update on current recommended practice and developments in current thinking regarding the CAPS-A tool and its uses. We suggest that you may wish to attend this course to update your skills and knowledge if you completed your original training over 7 years ago.

Open to all UK and Ireland SLTs as a priority.

Early bird offer - £60 if payment is received within 14 days of confirmation of place

Late payment after reservation (over 14 days) £75

All payments to be made by 1st May 2024, otherwise places will be reopened to other centres.
